Brandon Jewish Youth Academy

The Brandon Jewish Youth Academy (BJYA) is the Hebrew school of Congregation Beth Shalom of Brandon. We offer a modern, meaningful, and memorable Jewish education grounded in Reform Jewish values, tradition, and community. Our program combines Hebrew language, Jewish holidays, Torah study, and ethics in an engaging, age-appropriate format for today’s families.

We’ve just completed a successful pilot year and will officially launch our in-house built B’nai Mitzvah curriculum this Fall. Enrollment is open!

Free tuition is offered to members in good standing of Congregation Beth Shalom.

We are hosting a q&a session on Sunday, July 27 at 1pm.  You must RSVP to the event – names will be checked against a guest list.  We take security seriously, there will be a Hillsborough County Deputy on site.  There will be pizza, ice cream, & activities for the kids, as well as wine, cheese, and snacks for the adults.  Come hear all about this new opportunity for Jewish families in the Brandon area!

For more information, email us at info@bjya.org or call (813) 438-3914.  For RSVPs to the event on July 27, please email rsvp@bjya.org.

To be eligible for Religious School registration, students must be part of member families of CBS. For more info on becoming a member, go to our Membership page.
